(+)-Etomoxir sodium salt hydrate is a colorless and odorless salt, soluble in water. The shelf life is limited when in solution. (+)-Etomoxir is a colorless and odorless solid with a melting point of 38 degrees celsius. (+)-Etomoxir is unsoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents as alcohol, ether, acetone, dichloromethan and toluene. For in vivo experiments a freshly prepared emulsion with Cremophor EL is recommend.
